I am starting to get more work coming my way of working on Zs and I'm curious how some of the people that do work go about it. I one source is through a local shop, which is easy, they call me up when someone comes in with a Z. What I'm not so sure about is when people just ask me directly to fix something on their car. How do I charge for my time? I'm not a professional shop, but there comes a point when I can't just endlessly help out friends for free. I don't want to shaft people, but don't want to get shafted myself. I understand if you don't feel comfortable talking about what you charge people publicly, shoot me an email if that is the case.
